Fighting without dice is somewhat less complicated than fighting WITH dice, but it is more strict in what you can and cannot do.
Fighting without dice is more or less a battle of roleplay skill. The better you can roleplay, the more likely you are going to win. If you powerplay even one tiny bit, the admins will disqualify you. Oh, did I forget to mention? In a FWOD (fighting without dice) battle, an admin or staff member MUST MONITOR THE FIGHT. MUST.
There is the challenger, and the challengee.
STEP ONE:
Challenger:
PM the admin or staff member of your choosing, and give them the link to the thread that has the FWOD in it. List who is fighting, both the roleplayers and the characters who are doing the fighting.
The admin or staff member will either agree or disagree to monitoring the fight. They will make a post in the thread the FWOD saying that they are monitoring the fight. YOU CAN NOT FIGHT UNTIL THEY HAVE POSTED THAT THEY ARE MONITORING THE FIGHT.
Each character gets three Perfect Dodges (you dodge so that your character gets no damage taken at all) and four Partial Dodges (you dodge, but the attacker still hits so you get hurt, but not too badly)
STEP TWO:
Challengee: After the admin or staff member has posted, you get to make the first move. Post. Do not powerplay, or you will be disqualified and made fun of.
Challenger: Post after, react to everything, dodge if you want.
STEP THREE:
Challengee: DO NOT POST AGAIN. The referee will post here, declaring that they approve of the posts. ONLY AFTER THE REFEREE POSTS CAN YOU POST AGAIN.
Repeat steps TWO and THREE until either the challenger or the challengee SUBMIT TO DEFEAT, or DO NOT POST IN THREE DAYS. The only other way you can win or lose is if the referee DECLAIRS A WINNER OR LOSER.
-------
Now you get to watch me roleplay with myself again. Woo boy I bet you're thrilled.
